Our Services
Three Services, One
Consistent Standard of Care
Whether you are preparing for the future or navigating a loss, Warisan provides patient, thorough legal support for the three most important moments in an inheritance journey.
Back to HomeHow We Work
Our Approach to Every Matter
All three services follow the same core methodology: we begin by listening, proceed only when you are ready, explain every step in plain terms, and keep you informed throughout. The pace, complexity, and timeline differ by service — the standard of care does not.
Listen & Understand
The first step is always a conversation — we take time to understand your family's situation before suggesting any course of action.
Prepare with Care
Documents and applications are prepared thoroughly, reviewed by a second adviser, and explained to you before any filing or signing.
Keep You Informed
We update you at every milestone and respond to all enquiries within one business day — you are never left wondering where things stand.
Service 01
Will Preparation (Wasiat) Advisory
From RM 560
A will is one of the most considered gifts you can leave your family. At Warisan, will preparation is a careful, collaborative process — we take time to understand your assets, your family's needs, and your specific wishes before drafting a single clause.
We explain each provision in plain terms, discuss alternatives where relevant, and never press for a quick decision. The result is a document you fully understand and that truly reflects your intentions.
- Full assets and beneficiaries review
- Clause-by-clause plain-language walkthrough
- Proper witnessing in accordance with the Wills Act 1959
- Guidance on executors and trustees
- Wasiat considerations for Muslim clients
The Process
Who this service suits
Any adult who wishes to make their intentions clear regarding their assets — whether recently married, starting a family, acquiring property, or simply planning ahead. It is also the starting point for those wishing to establish a trust or provide for dependants with special needs.
Who this service suits
Families who have recently lost a loved one and need help managing the legal and administrative steps that follow. Also appropriate for executors appointed under a will who feel the scope of the role is beyond what they can manage alone.
Service 02
Estate Administration Support
From RM 960
Administering an estate after a bereavement involves communicating with banks, government agencies, courts, and beneficiaries — often while the family is still grieving. Warisan takes on as much of this as possible, keeping the family informed without overwhelming them.
We handle the process at a pace suited to the family's circumstances, providing clear updates and explaining each requirement as it arises.
- Asset identification and inventory
- Liaison with banks, EPF, and insurance companies
- Settlement of outstanding debts and liabilities
- Distribution coordination among beneficiaries
- Final accounts and estate closure documentation
The Process
Service 03
Grant of Probate Assistance
From RM 1,320
A grant of probate is a court order confirming the validity of a will and authorising the executor to deal with the estate. The application process involves gathering supporting documents, preparing affidavits, and filing with the High Court — a process we manage carefully on your behalf.
We explain each requirement, manage all court correspondence, and keep you informed at every stage. Where complications arise, we advise you plainly on your options.
- Full document preparation and affidavit drafting
- High Court filing and follow-up
- Timeline management and milestone updates
- Handling of queries or requests from the court
- Coordination with estate administration if needed
The Process
Who this service suits
Executors named in a will who need to obtain legal authority to administer an estate. Also useful where a financial institution or the Land Registry requires proof of authority before releasing or transferring assets.
